In, Rhoda Scott and her Lady Quartet celebrated twenty years of musical exploration. To honor this milestone, with a sense of humor and a fresh take on equality, they’ve decided to broaden their scope for their third album by inviting three talented male vocalists. David Linx, a longtime collaborator, brings his smooth jazz finesse; Hugh Coltman, with his deep, soulful delivery, channels the heart of the blues; and Emmanuel PI DJOB, with his powerful voice, represents the rich traditions of gospel, soul, and world music. This new album, set to be released on December 6 under the Sunset Records label, promises an exciting, vibrant blend of voices and instrumentation.
