Dans Alchimia, la Soprano Colorature Patricia Petibon prolonge une intuition artistique née avec son mari Didier Lockwood, dont cet enregistrement demeure le dernier témoignage, un geste à la fois visionnaire et profondément ancré dans la continuité de la vie. Comme une bouteille à la mer lancée il y a huit ans, ce projet ressuscite, intact, porteur d’un lien, d’une présence, d’une histoire magique qui continue de vibrer.
Aux côtés de Dimitri Naïditch (piano) et de Christian-Pierre La Marca (violoncelle), elle construira en tournée un parcours où la poésie du son guide chaque transition. De Maurice Ravel à Giacomo Puccini, de Francis Poulenc à Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, le programme traverse les grandes pages du répertoire lyrique avec exigence et liberté. Les œuvres de Gabriel Fauré, Charles Gounod, Jules Massenet et Johann Sebastian Bach y trouvent une résonance nouvelle, entre fidélité et réinvention.

In Alchimia, coloratura soprano Patricia Petibon carries forward an artistic vision born with her husband, Didier Lockwood. This recording remains his final testament—a gesture both visionary and deeply rooted in the continuity of life. Like a message in a bottle cast into the sea eight years ago, the project has now resurfaced intact, bearing a bond, a presence and a magical story that continues to resonate.
Together with Dimitri Naïditch on piano and Christian-Pierre La Marca on cello, she will take audiences on a musical journey in which the poetry of sound guides every transition. From Maurice Ravel to Giacomo Puccini, from Francis Poulenc to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the programme explores some of the greatest works in the operatic repertoire with both rigour and freedom.
